Strategic plan refocusing on profitable growth

As announced at the June 10, 2011 shareholders meeting, and after four months at the head of the Altran group, the new Chairman and Chief Executive Philippe Salle has presented his strategic plan for 2012-2015, targeting a return to profitable growth with the launch of twelve major projects.

Altran successfully appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 3

This international CMMI appraisal opens up new business opportunities for Altran to deliver complex software projects for clients. It took less than a year to gain this Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 appraisal, which has now been validated by the USA Software Engineering Institute (SEI).

Quimera AEGT01, the world's most powerful electric car

A few days ago, the Quimera Project launched its prototype All-Electric GT at the Motorland Aragon circuit (Spain). The programme for this surprise session included a road trial of this high-performance vehicle featuring a series of technical tests and laps of the track in line with the times managed by a competition GT.

‘Friend-lean’ flying: EADS and Altran discuss the airport of the future

An airport without queues, long walking distances or confusing structures, in which the required time between arrival at the airport and boarding the aircraft is only 10 minutes. EADS Innovation Works (IW), the corporate network of research centres of EADS, and Altran, an international advanced engineering and innovation consulting group, are jointly working on projects supporting the long-term evolution of the air transport industry. The goal of a recent study was to create revolutionary airport concepts.
